| Cladding: | 19mm (15mm finished thickness) T&G Shiplap OR 19mm (15mm finished thickness) T&G Loglap at no extra charge, if specified. (Redwood deal not the cheaper whitewood). Treated externally. Coach screwed construction. | ||
| Framing: | 50 x 45mm (2" x 2" nominal) as standard. Effectively thicker in corners when erected (about 70 x 45mm. | ||
| Style: | Normally Apex but available with Pent roof at no extra charge. | ||
| Roofs: | 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G timber (no chipboard, sterling board or OSB board) and covered with heavy green mineral roofing felt. | ||
| Floors: | Heavy duty ¾" v313 grade moisture resistant particular boarded floor set on 50 x 45mm (2x2 nominal) pressure impregnated joists for long life. | ||
| Doors: | Fully Framed joinery quality heavy duty Doors as standard. One pair of fully boarded doors hung on two pairs 23" heavy duty door bands, two tower bolts, mortice lock and lever furniture on buildings 8' wide and 8' long and over. A single fully boarded door on the smaller sectional buildings. | ||
| Windows: | 3mm clear horticultural glass bedded in clear silicone. At least one opening window, which is top hung with 2 t-hinges and one casement stay, is included as standard. Option for toughened - laminated - wired glass. | ||
| Corner Strips: | 'Wrap Around' corner strips for extra protection to the end grain of the timber and for a smarter finish. | ||
| Height: | Internal eaves height 6' 4" eaves on all buildings. Ridge height is 7' 6" on 8' workshops, 7' 10" on 10' workshops, and 8' 6" on larger sectional buildings. Option for extra height if required. | |
| Treatment: | All sectional buildings are treated externally with a high quality timber preservative. | |
| Nails: | These are all rust resistant to ensure long lasting good appearance to your workshop. NO staples are used as these are not suitable for a quality building. | |
| Erection: | All our sectional buildings are erected FREE of charge, provided you provide a solid level concrete or paving slab base or timber decked area, or possibly could be built on your timber bearers. Building are secured using coach screws for ease of taking them down again if you decide to move. | |
| Delivery: | Delivery is FREE within Diamond standard delivery area but they can be delivered anywhere in England or Wales, outside of the free delivery area, at a charge of 10%s. | |
| Alterations: | Any size garden shed or timber building made with extra doors, windows or partitions. If not sure please contact us for your personal quote | |
| Optional Extras: | Double or wider doors, extra windows, georgian windows, extra height, partitions, toughened - laminated - wired glass etc - please ask. | |
| Sizes: | Unless specified as finished size then sizes quoted are before machining which reduces the size quoted by about 3mm. | |
